All on 4 in Turkey: a full arch of fixed teeth on four implants
When most teeth in a jaw are failing or already gone, four implants can hold a complete fixed bridge. Here is how we do it and what it costs.
All on 4 in Turkey at Precious Dental costs £6,000 for both jaws in total, including the implants, zirconia teeth, titanium bar, temporary teeth, extractions, X-rays, medication, hotel and transfers. It takes two trips to Antalya. You leave the first trip with fixed temporary teeth and return 3 to 6 months later for the final bridge.

All on 4 in Turkey is a way of replacing every tooth in a jaw with one fixed bridge that sits on four implants. At Precious Dental in Antalya we offer it to people whose remaining teeth are loose, broken or decayed beyond repair, and to people who have worn a full denture for years and are tired of it moving. This page explains who suits it, what surgery day is like, what you live with in between, and what you will pay.
All-on-4® is a trademark of Nobel Biocare; we are not affiliated with any implant maker. We use the name because it is what patients search for, and the four-implant approach can be carried out with several implant systems.
How four implants can carry a whole arch
A full arch has twelve to fourteen teeth, so it can seem odd that four posts are enough. The trick is spacing and angle. Two implants go in upright near the front of the jaw, where bone is usually thicker. The two at the back are tilted, so their tips lean forward and their tops come out further back in the mouth. That spreads the support across the arch without placing implants near the nerve in the lower jaw or into the sinus in the upper jaw.
Research comparing tilted and upright implants has found broadly similar survival, which is why the tilted design has been used for more than twenty years. The bridge on top is a single rigid piece with a titanium bar inside, so chewing forces are shared across all four implants rather than loading one at a time.
Who it suits
- most or all teeth in a jaw are failing through decay, cracks or gum disease
- you have a full denture that rubs, slips or makes eating a chore
- the bone has shrunk, but the 3D scan shows enough at the front of the jaw for four implants
- you want teeth that stay in, rather than teeth you take out at night
It is not the right answer for everyone. If you still have several sound teeth, saving them and replacing only the gaps can be the kinder plan, and we prefer to keep healthy teeth when we can. People with very heavy grinding, uncontrolled diabetes or heavy smoking need extra caution, because a four-implant bridge has less spare support if one implant has a problem. In those cases the dentist may suggest All-on-6 instead.
Before you travel
We start with what you can send from home: photos of your smile, a panoramic X-ray if you have one, and a list of your medicines and health conditions. A dentist reviews these and sends a preliminary written plan with an itemised price. It states how many implants are planned, which brand, and why. Nothing is paid at this stage.
Full-arch surgery is a long appointment, so if you are anxious, say so early. Sedation given by an anaesthetist can be arranged on request, and it changes how the day feels for many people.
Your two trips, step by step
- Arrival and 3D scan On day one we examine you and take a CBCT scan. The dentist checks the bone, nerve and sinus positions and confirms the final plan in writing.
- Surgery day Remaining failing teeth are removed, free of charge, and the four implants are placed in the same appointment under local anaesthetic, with sedation if you asked for it.
- Fixed temporary teeth Over the following days a lightweight fixed temporary bridge is made and screwed onto the implants. You fly home with teeth, not a gap.
- Healing at home The implants bond to the bone over about 3 months in the lower jaw and 4 to 6 months in the upper. You stay on a softer diet and keep in touch with your coordinator on WhatsApp.
- Second trip, final bridge We take new scans, try in the final zirconia teeth on their titanium bar, adjust the bite and fit them. You leave with written aftercare, an implant passport and copies of your X-rays and scans.
The first stay includes 4 hotel nights and the second 5, with airport and clinic transfers each time. See how it works for the practical side.
Living with the temporary teeth
The temporary bridge is lighter and less tough than the final one. It is there to let you smile, speak and eat soft food while the bone heals. Think fish, pasta, eggs, cooked vegetables and soft bread cut into pieces. Biting into apples or crusty rolls with the front teeth is off the menu for now. A cracked temporary is fixable, but it is a nuisance from home.
Speech can feel different for a week or two because your tongue is meeting a new shape. Most people adapt quickly. Cleaning matters from the start: you will use a soft brush, and a water flosser is very helpful for the gap between the bridge and the gum.
The final bridge
Our full-arch teeth are zirconia on a titanium bar. Zirconia is very hard and resists staining, and reviews of full-arch zirconia bridges report good medium-term results, with chipping of the outer layer and wear on opposing teeth among the issues to watch. The bridge is screwed in, so a dentist can take it off for a deep clean or repair without damaging the implants.
You choose the shade with us. We will steer you towards a natural white that suits your age and skin, but it is your decision.
Risks and honest limits
- An implant may not bond. With only four, losing one usually means the bridge cannot be fully loaded until a replacement is placed.
- Surgery risks include swelling, bruising, infection and, rarely, numbness of the lip if the lower nerve is irritated.
- The upper jaw is harder. Bone there is softer, which is why healing takes longer. Some people need a sinus lift or bone graft, or zygomatic implants at £2,000 per implant, when bone is very short.
- Cleaning is your job. Gum infection around implants is the main long-term risk, and it is linked to poor hygiene.
- It is not the same as natural teeth. Biting feels firm and secure, but you lose some of the fine sense of touch that natural roots give.
Price and what is included
All-on-4 with us is £6,000 for both jaws, upper and lower, in total. That figure covers the implants, the zirconia teeth, the titanium bar, the fixed temporary teeth, free extractions, X-rays and medication, the hotel for both stays (4 and 5 nights) and airport and clinic transfers. Flights are not included. Bone grafts (£150 per 1cc), a sinus lift (£350) or zygomatic implants are only added when your scan shows they are needed, and they are written into the plan before treatment.
You pay at the clinic against the plan you approved. Compare every item on our prices page.
Guarantee
Implants and abutments carry our lifetime guarantee, and a failed implant is replaced once free of charge. The bridge, like other bridges, is guaranteed for 5 years. The guarantee can be reduced or void if hygiene is neglected, check-ups are missed or a grinder does not wear a night guard, and accident or sports damage is excluded. Any guarantee work is carried out in Antalya; we provide the hotel for the treatment period and you pay your flights. Full terms are on our guarantee page.
Other routes worth comparing
If your bone allows six implants, All-on-6 costs a little more and gives more spare support. If you are happy with a removable denture and just want it to stop moving, implant-retained dentures need fewer implants; see dentures. For one or two missing teeth, single dental implants make more sense.
Get your written full-arch plan
Send a panoramic X-ray or photos and a dentist will reply with a written plan showing the number of implants, the brand and an itemised price. There is no charge for the plan. Use our contact page or talk to a coordinator on WhatsApp.
Common questions
Is the All on 4 price per jaw or for both?
£6,000 is for both jaws, upper and lower, in total. If you only need one jaw, ask us for a written quote.
Will I go home without teeth?
No. Fixed temporary teeth are attached after surgery, so you fly home with teeth. You wear them while the implants heal, then the final bridge is fitted on the second trip.
Can I take the teeth out myself?
No. The bridge is screwed to the implants and only a dentist removes it, for example at a check-up or for a repair.
All-on-4 or All-on-6?
It depends on your bone. Six implants share the load more widely; four can work where bone is limited. The dentist decides on your 3D scan and writes the reason down. See All-on-6.
What if the upper jaw has very little bone?
A sinus lift, bone graft or, in some cases, zygomatic implants may be needed. Each is priced separately in your written plan.
