How dental treatment in Turkey works with us
What happens from the first photo you send until you are home with your new teeth, and how many trips and nights each treatment needs.
You send photos or an X-ray, a dentist sends back a written plan and price, and you book flights. We collect you at Antalya Airport, scan your teeth on day one, confirm the plan in writing and treat you. Crowns and veneers usually take one trip of five to seven days; implants take two trips a few months apart.
Step 1: send us photos or an X-ray
Everything starts from home. Send a few photos of your teeth to our coordinators on WhatsApp (+44 7575 589099) or through the contact form. Useful photos are: a full smile, your top teeth from below, your bottom teeth from above, and each side with your teeth together. Daylight from a window works better than a flash.
If you have had a panoramic X-ray (sometimes called an OPG) in the last year, ask your dentist for a copy and send it too. For implants it makes the first plan far more accurate.
Step 2: your written plan and price
One of our dentists looks at what you sent. Your coordinator then sends you a written plan that lists the treatment tooth by tooth, the materials and, for implants, the brand. It shows the price in pounds, how many trips you need, how many nights and which are included in the hotel.
You do not pay anything to receive the plan. Take your time with it, ask questions and show it to your own dentist if you like. A good plan does not expire overnight.
Step 3: choose dates and book flights
Your coordinator suggests dates that fit the treatment. You book your own flights to Antalya (AYT). Many UK airports have direct flights, especially from spring to autumn; in winter you may need to change. Send us your flight details and we arrange the pick-up.
UK visitors should check the current entry rules on GOV.UK before booking. Make sure your passport is valid for long enough.
Step 4: arrival and day one at the clinic
Our driver meets you in the arrivals hall and takes you to your hotel. The clinic is in Muratpaşa, about 20 minutes from the airport.
On your first appointment the dentist examines your mouth and takes a 3D CBCT scan in the clinic. The scan shows bone, nerves and sinuses in three dimensions, which an ordinary X-ray cannot. The dentist talks you through the result and confirms the final plan with you in writing. If anything has changed from your first plan, you see the reason and the new price before you agree.
Step 5: treatment days
How the days run depends on your treatment:
| Treatment | Trips | Typical stay |
|---|---|---|
| Zirconia crowns, veneers, smile makeover | 1 | About 5 to 7 days |
| Dental implants | 2, about 3 to 6 months apart | 4 nights, then 5 nights |
| All-on-4 or All-on-6 | 2, about 3 to 6 months apart | 4 nights, then 5 nights |
| Teeth whitening | 1 | 1 appointment |
Our driver takes you to and from every appointment. Between appointments your time is your own. After surgery we suggest you rest, eat soft food and keep the first evening quiet.
If you are nervous, tell us early. Sedation given by an anaesthetist is available for surgery, and you can ask for a break at any time.
Why implants need two trips
An implant has to fuse with the bone before it can carry a permanent tooth. That healing takes around three months in the lower jaw and four to six months in the upper. You heal at home, in your normal life, and come back when the dentist is happy with the bone. Full-arch patients are never left without teeth: fixed temporary teeth are fitted on the first trip.
Step 6: home, aftercare and check-ups
Before you fly you receive written aftercare instructions, your treatment records and, for implants, an implant passport with the brand and batch of each implant. Keep them with your passport.
Once home, register with or keep seeing a UK dentist for check-ups and hygiene. They can see exactly what was done from your records. If something worries you, message your coordinator with photos. A dentist reviews them and tells you what to do. Covered problems are treated at our clinic under the written guarantee.
Start with a free plan
The easiest first step is to send us photos today. Use the contact form or WhatsApp, and you will have a written plan to think about, with no obligation.
Common questions
How many trips do implants need?
Usually two. The implants are placed on the first trip. After three to six months of healing at home you return for the final crowns or bridge. Full-arch patients have fixed temporary teeth in between.
Can I do crowns or veneers in one trip?
Yes, normally one trip of about five to seven days, because the laboratory work is done while you are in Antalya and you wear temporaries for a few days.
Do I need an X-ray before I come?
It helps but is not essential. A panoramic X-ray (OPG) from the last year lets the dentist give you a more accurate plan. If you have none, clear photos are enough for a first plan and we take a 3D scan when you arrive.
Can someone come with me?
Yes, and we recommend it if you are having surgery or sedation. Tell your coordinator so the hotel room and transfers are arranged for two.
What if I need a check-up after I get home?
Any UK dentist can check your teeth. Bring them your treatment records and implant passport. If there is a problem, message your coordinator with photos first.
