Smile makeover in Turkey: one plan for the whole smile
A makeover is not one treatment. It is a plan that uses the gentlest option for each tooth, so the whole smile works together.

A smile makeover in Turkey is often imagined as a full set of new teeth fitted in a week. At Precious Dental in Antalya we think of it differently. A makeover is a single plan for your whole smile that uses the least invasive treatment each tooth needs. For one person that is whitening and a little bonding. For another it is new crowns on worn back teeth and veneers on the front. This page explains how we build that plan, how the week runs, and how the price is worked out.
What a makeover can include
Most makeovers draw on a small set of treatments, each with its own job:

The art is in the mix. Using crowns everywhere would give a uniform result but would cost you healthy tooth for no good reason. Using only bonding where teeth are badly broken would not last. Our plan states, tooth by tooth, what is proposed and why.
Who a makeover suits
- a smile with several problems at once: stains, chips, gaps, mismatched old work
- worn teeth that have become shorter with age, making the smile look tired
- old crowns or fillings that no longer match each other
- someone who wants a fresher smile that still looks like their own
Older mouths need particular care. Gums often sit lower than they did, revealing more of the root. Teeth may have worn flat. There may be several generations of dental work side by side. A good makeover for someone in their sixties respects that. Slightly softer shapes and a natural shade usually look better than the very square, very white teeth seen on social media.
Gum disease and decay are treated before any cosmetic work. Bonding veneers or crowns onto unhealthy gums is a short-lived result.
Designing the new smile with you
We start with photos of your face and smile and an intraoral scan of your teeth. Our cosmetic dentists, among them Dt. Şeyda Yılmaz and Dt. Hüseyin Bayram, use digital smile design to plan tooth length, width and the line of the edges against your lips and face.
That design then becomes a trial smile: a tooth-coloured mock-up placed over your teeth without any drilling. Wear it for a while, smile, talk and look at it in daylight. Bring someone whose opinion you trust. This is the stage to ask for changes, because the final work is copied from it.
How the week runs
- Photos from home Send smile photos and, if you have one, a recent X-ray. A dentist reviews them and sends a preliminary written plan with an itemised price. No payment is needed.
- Day one: examination X-rays, scans and a check of gums and roots. Anything that must be treated first is dealt with. The final plan is confirmed in writing.
- Whitening, if planned Done early, so the shade of any ceramic can be chosen to match your newly whitened teeth.
- Design and trial smile The new shapes are agreed with you on the mock-up.
- Preparation and temporaries Teeth that need veneers or crowns are prepared under local anaesthetic and scanned. Temporaries protect them.
- Try-in and fitting The ceramic work is tried in, checked in natural light, adjusted and fitted. Bonding, if planned, is done at the chair. You receive written aftercare.

After your makeover
Your lips and tongue will notice the new shapes for a few days, and some teeth may be sensitive to cold. Speech usually settles within a week. Long-term care is ordinary but important: twice-daily brushing, daily cleaning between teeth, regular check-ups and hygiene visits at home, and a night guard if you grind. Ceramic does not stain easily, but the edges where it meets the tooth can collect marks that a hygienist can polish.
Risks and honest limits
- Prepared teeth stay prepared. Teeth shaped for veneers or crowns will always need a restoration.
- Different materials age differently. Bonding may need polishing or repair within a few years, while ceramic lasts longer. A mixed plan means some parts will need attention sooner than others.
- Expectations matter. A makeover cannot change the shape of your lips, the position of your jaw or how much gum shows, though it can improve the balance.
- Gums can move. Recession over the years can expose crown or veneer edges.
- Rushed decisions. Choosing a very bright shade on holiday can feel different back home. Use the trial smile and take your time.
Price and what is included
There is no single makeover price because every plan is different. Your written quote adds up the items, using our standard prices:

Transfers are included, and the zirconia package includes 5 hotel nights when zirconia crowns make up the plan. Flights are not included. You pay at the clinic against the plan you approve. Full prices are on prices.
Guarantee
A smile makeover is guaranteed in writing for 5 years, with laminate veneers at 3 years and whitening at 1 year where they are part of the plan. The guarantee depends on good hygiene, kept check-ups and a night guard for grinders, and it does not cover accident or sports damage. Common questions
What is the difference between a smile makeover and a Hollywood smile?
A Hollywood smile usually means a full row of veneers or crowns for a bright, even look. A makeover can include that, but it starts from what each tooth needs and may use less. See Hollywood smile.
Can I have a makeover if I have old crowns?
Yes. Old crowns are often replaced as part of the plan so everything matches. The dentist checks the tooth under each one before deciding.
How do I know I will like the result?
We design the new smile on screen and then copy it into your mouth as a trial smile, with no drilling. You can look, talk and take photos, and ask for changes.
Do I need whitening first?
If some of your own teeth will stay visible, it is best to whiten them before the shade of any veneers or crowns is chosen, because ceramic does not whiten later.
Is it one trip?
Usually, about 5 to 7 days. If implants are part of the plan, a second trip is needed for those teeth.
