Dental treatments in Turkey
Every treatment we offer at our clinic in Antalya, with a plain summary of what it is, who it suits and where to read more.
Dental treatments in Turkey cover a wide range, and it is easy to feel you are choosing from a menu without knowing what each dish is. This page lists every treatment we provide at Precious Dental, our licensed clinic in Muratpaşa, central Antalya, about 20 minutes from the airport. Each entry says in plain words what the treatment is and who it tends to suit, and links to a full page with the steps, the risks, the price and the guarantee.
One principle runs through all of it: we prefer to keep a healthy tooth rather than crown or replace it. Whatever you read below, the right plan for you comes from a dentist looking at your own teeth.
Replacing missing teeth
Dental implants
An implant is a titanium post placed in the jawbone to replace a tooth root, topped with a crown. It suits people missing one or a few teeth who want something fixed that does not rely on the neighbouring teeth. Treatment takes two trips, usually 3 to 6 months apart, while the bone bonds to the implant. We place MegaGen, Neodent and Straumann implants at the same price, £300 per implant.
All-on-4
A complete fixed bridge of teeth held by four implants in one jaw, the rear pair set at an angle so they reach firmer bone further forward. It is often the answer for people whose remaining teeth are failing or who struggle with a full denture. You leave the first trip with fixed temporary teeth and return for the final zirconia bridge. All-on-4® is a trademark of Nobel Biocare; we are not affiliated with any implant maker.
All-on-6
The same idea with six implants per jaw. The extra two spread the chewing load and give spare support if one implant ever has a problem, but they need a little more bone. Our dentists decide between four and six on your 3D scan and write the reason into your plan.
Dentures and implant-retained dentures
For people whose denture moves, two or more implants can hold it firmly with clips, while it still comes out for cleaning. We also explain when an ordinary, well-made denture remains the sensible choice, for example when surgery is not advisable.
Bone graft and sinus lift
When a tooth has been missing for a long time, the bone can be too thin or too low for an implant. A graft adds width; a sinus lift adds height in the upper back jaw. These are only added when the scan shows they are needed, and they are priced in writing before treatment.
Repairing and protecting teeth
Crowns and bridges
A crown covers a tooth that is cracked, heavily filled or weakened after root canal treatment. A bridge uses crowns on the teeth either side of a gap to hold a replacement tooth, avoiding surgery. We explain zirconia, E-max and the older porcelain-on-metal crowns, and when a bridge beats an implant.
Zirconia crowns
Zirconia is the strong, metal-free ceramic we use for most crowns and bridges. It suits back teeth, bridges and full-mouth work, and leaves no grey line at the gum. This page covers how a set of crowns is planned, where zirconia is not the first choice, and our package for a full set.
Root canal treatment
When the nerve inside a tooth is infected or dying, root canal treatment cleans and seals the inside so the tooth can be kept. Back teeth usually need a crown afterwards. We are frank about when a tooth is worth saving and when removal and an implant are more predictable.
Changing how your smile looks
Veneers
E-max laminate veneers are thin ceramic shells bonded to the front of the tooth to change colour, shape and small gaps, with far less tooth removed than for a crown. You see the planned result first as a trial smile, made without drilling.
Smile makeover
A single plan for the whole smile that mixes treatments, such as whitening, bonding, veneers and crowns, using the gentlest option for each tooth. It suits people with several problems at once, including worn teeth and mismatched old dental work.
Hollywood smile
A full, bright row of veneers or crowns across the teeth that show when you smile. We explain how to get that look without it appearing artificial, and how to avoid the heavily cut-down teeth that gave the phrase a bad name.
Teeth whitening
Professional in-clinic whitening lightens natural teeth without removing anything. It does not change crowns, veneers or fillings, so it is often done first, before new ceramic work is matched to the lighter shade.
Composite bonding
Tooth-coloured resin added by hand to repair chips, close small gaps and rebuild worn edges, usually with no drilling. It is a good first step for small changes and is easily repaired, though it stains and chips more readily than porcelain.
